Farewell wintery waters!

We hope that the next beach we see will be quite a different experience!

Today we had a day trip to Silverleaves to ready the house for our absence. Granddad provided a lift in the new Kluger, a trailer load of wood on the back.

Silverleaves

It was one of those 26-hour visits to the island but we made the most of it! Nicked down after Hannah's calisthenics practice, arrived at 5.30pm on Saturday evening. Within half an hour the barby was hot and the fire was crackling (with just a hint of kero in the air!).
